The company is a very profitable and successful provider of on-line membership marketing services. Revenue growth has averaged 30% per year, culminating in 2004 sales approaching $100 million. A unique business model, combined with an experienced and tested management team, has them poised for continued growth.

The Role: Director, Financial Reporting & Analysis
Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, this highly visible and challenging role will offer broad-based exposure to Senior Management across all business and functional areas. This position's peers will include the Director, Accounting and the Director, Compliance. The primary objective of this role will be to execute routine financial planning, reporting and accounting functions while assisting management in the analysis of key corporate performance metrics. Day to day responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Production of standard monthly revenue recognition reports and related refund, commission and merchant processing statements; preparation and posting of related journal entries; the production of client invoices; and the reconciliation of all related balance sheet accounts.
• Monthly projection model update process. This includes the maintenance of our financial statement forecast model, updating the estimated data with actual performance and ensuring YTD actual data ties with YTD financial statements, maintaining prior projection model integrity, producing actual to projection variance analysis, adding future periods to the model as needed, and working with management to incorporate into the model the impacts of new business ventures, process and operational changes and trend changes.
• Weekly administration of all vendor payments, including validation of past due balances, calculation and input of merchant impression invoices, payment issuance, administration of controlled disbursement process with the bank, and resolution of all accounts payable questions.

Candidate Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter who is capable of working independently and with limited supervision. S/He must be flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the business. The chosen candidate will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and will have previously demonstrated the ability to effect change. A strong accounting and financial background, with experiences gained in public accounting and/or corporate finance is required. Advanced credentials such as a CPA certification or an MBA are preferred.
