The Role: Manager, Business Risk
Reporting to the V.P, Business, the primary objective of this role is to provide insight and analysis that will measure the effectiveness of key business initiatives. Individual will work with senior management across business segments, including marketing, sales, finance, IT, distribution and procurement, to evaluate risk and recommend a framework to mitigate risk. Examples of projects that this person may be involved with include:

• Review of the "re-design of core business processes" to ensure that re-design objectives are being met.
• Thorough assessment of new product innovations prior to product launch in order to evaluate business risks.
• Review of marketing-spend, relative to stated initiatives, to determine effectiveness of investment.
• Post-implementation review of SAP.
• Provide assurance on the soundness of the internal control environment; make recommendations to improve control effectiveness.

Candidate Qualifications

• Six to ten years of professional experience with a strong focus on business process improvement and re-engineering.
• Public, consulting and/or consumer products experience.
• Outstanding communications skills, high integrity and strong interpersonal skills.
